Bishop of Providence Attacks Congressman Kennedy and Woman’s Rights

I am thinking that the church should stay out of our government’s business.  The Bishop of Providence, RI, in a clear attack on woman’s rights,  is threatening our duly elected congressman Patrick Kennedy over his stand on the medical bill as it relates to the abortion issue, and medical insurance payments. He called our congressman ignorant!  Any threats to withhold communion are pure blackmail.  Personally, I think the Bishop, and the church should stay out of government matters, and apologize to our Congressman.    Perhaps the Bishop should go to a third world country where he can watch real babies die from starvation because of over population, or better yet resign. I call on the Bishop to stop attacking woman’s rights, and stay out of the business of running America.  It’s time to get real, and keep up with the times, and also to take better care of church matters including controlling your priests.  Their archaic attitudes will set the church back fifty years, and cause even more of our young people to disregard, or ignore the church.  The Bishop should also stop meddling in our immigration and gay rights laws too.  No church, or group of religious fanatics run America except in their own little weird fantasy land.  We must keep the separation between the State and The Church, or we will eventually end up in a war between fanatics just like the middle east.  Theocracies do not work.
