5 AM  two coffees no sugar.

I weighed in at 221 lbs this morning.

Breakfast    Instant oatmeal, 1/2 banana, cranberry juice.

It is interesting to note that yesterday I went to my doctor for my annual physical.   Last week I went to the lab for blood work which they forwarded to my doctor.  The short story is that I have lost nearly 25 pounds since my last physical, and all of my blood work has improved dramatically.  I am out of the risk range for diabetes, my blood pressure is perfect, my cholesterol is 130 which is better than my 51 year old doctors, and my PSA is .76 out of a possible 5.0 which is high risk for prostate cancer.  So I feel that my efforts to lose weight at this point have been well worth while.  I have had a heart murmur that comes and goes for years.  It has never bothered, or worried me, but my doctor is sending me in for an echo cardiogram next week just to be on the safe side.  I’m not worried about it at 76, I have to expect some problems.

Last night I did a radio interview for a Haitian radio station new New Your City.  We are seeking student volunteers to help translate my free technology manual for the poor people in Haiti.  We are hoping for some positive responses today.
