5 AM  2 coffees no sugar

Weighed in at 219.5   My weight loss is slowing down as i thought it would.   I don’t care if it takes another year.  My goal is 170 .

Breakfast    A one egg omelet, an English muffin,  six stewed prunes, a small glass of milk .  I do not eat eggs very often any more.

Lunch           A cup of home made chicken soup, that’s it.

Dinner           A diet frozen shrimp dinner from Lean Cuisine.   A small glass of milk.

Any time I really get feeling like I’m starving I snack on dried fruit like prunes or apricots, but I do not over do it.  I also will have a small light yogurt at times.    My main goal though is not to exceed 1500 calories a day, and stay away from fatty foods, or  junk foods.    This program is only for serious people that genuinely want to lose weight.  My feeling is that I’ll never get off this program unless I want to put all the weight on again, and I do not want to do that because I feel so much better.  It’s not really a diet, it’s a lifestyle.  Remember, too many calories = weight gain.

Rough Estimate of Calorie Needs to Lose Weight

Here is a very rough guide of how many calories you need per day, if you want to lose weight. It’s a ballpark estimate only.

Teens
Teenagers need about 1500-1800 calories per day

Women (Non-Active)
Sedentary women typically need about 1100-1300 calories per day

Women (Active)
Active women typically need about 1400-1600 calories per day

Men (Non-Active)
Sedentary men typically need about 1600-1800 calories per day

Men (Active)
Active men typically need about 1800-2000 calories per day

No Alcohol, No Sugar, No fatty foods, low salt, drink a lot of water, or green tea, no junk food period. Keep calorie intake under 1500 a day, and walk at least 30 minutes a day if possible.
I’ll be in Florida for the entire month of January, and usually lose a lot of weight when I am out filming. I will be shooting the exteriors for a full length film in, and around the Everglades, and Naples, Florida.

Starting in May I will be filming in the Blackstone River Vally for at least a month doing exteriors for a full length film.
