Runaway Automobile Problems by Walt Barrett

Out of control automobiles – I can’t help but wonder if our cars, which are almost totally controlled by computers, that the speed control circuits are being scrambled from cell phone and texting transmissions, and maybe even police radar transmissions.  Computers can be disrupted by electromagnetic pulse induction caused by radio signals.  This is already a well known fact.  Let’s hope the NASA guys can figure it out.  Personally, the “fly by wire” systems make me uneasy.  Why don’t we have manual kill switches installed on our engines anyway – duh!
